Platform terms

These platform terms apply when you use go.atspeed.tech as a visitor, racer, payer, parent or guardian, club organiser, or team member. They apply alongside the privacy notice, cookie policy, refunds and cancellations page, and any booking-specific rules shown during checkout.

What go.atspeed.tech provides

go.atspeed.tech is operated by Vince Coleman and provides hosted software for RC clubs and organisers. The platform supports club pages, racer profiles, paid event bookings, championship entries, memberships, checkout, payment records, refund records, and club dashboard tools.

Unless we say otherwise in writing, the organising club is responsible for the event, championship, round, venue, timetable, class rules, safety rules, eligibility requirements, attendance decisions, cancellations, and refunds. go.atspeed.tech is the platform provider, not the race organiser.

Your account and racer profiles

You must provide accurate account, contact, booking, payment, licence, and racer information. You must be authorised to place orders for every racer included in a checkout.

Racer profiles on one account are intended for family use, such as a parent or guardian booking themselves and their children without separate accounts. They must not be used for team, club, or group bookings that should be placed by each racer through their own account. Accounts are limited to 6 racer profiles by default, and any request for additional racer profiles may be reviewed and require an explanation.

If you manage bookings for a child or another racer, you confirm that you have permission to do so and that you will make sure the racer follows the relevant club and event rules.

Bookings and checkout

Paid bookings are completed online through go.atspeed.tech checkout. Before payment, you may be asked to review club rules, event terms, championship terms, racer details, checkout questions, cancellation rules, refund rules, and these platform terms.

A booking is not confirmed until the platform shows that the order has been accepted or paid, depending on the checkout flow. Reserve-list entries, payment requests, and championship rounds may have extra steps or deadlines shown in the booking flow.

Prices, payments, and fees

The checkout total shown before payment is the amount you agree to pay for that order. Booking fees may be charged on paid orders placed through go.atspeed.tech. Unless a different fee is shown for a specific checkout, the default booking fee is 5.00% of the paid order total, subject to a minimum of £0.50 and a maximum of £7.50 per order. go.atspeed.tech is not VAT registered. Prices shown by go.atspeed.tech do not include VAT charged by go.atspeed.tech.

Payments are processed through Stripe and connected club Stripe accounts. go.atspeed.tech does not need to store full card numbers. Clubs are responsible for their own Stripe payment-processing fees, connected-account fees, payout requirements, tax obligations, invoices, accounting records, and local financial compliance connected with the money they receive.

Cancellations and refunds

Club-specific booking rules, cancellation terms, reserve-list handling, and event operations are set by the organising club and are shown alongside the booking flow where relevant. The specific refund position for an order is the policy shown and accepted at checkout, including any refund deadline or non-refundable fee.

go.atspeed booking fees are non-refundable once paid unless go.atspeed is legally required to refund them or the platform has made a clear checkout or processing error. Club refunds, event cancellations, championship cancellations, membership cancellations, and discretionary refund decisions are handled by the organising club. International use

go.atspeed.tech is used by clubs and racers in more than one country. The platform shows prices, taxes, payment availability, refund behaviour, and club settings based on the club, venue, currency, Stripe account, and checkout configuration. You are responsible for following the rules that apply to you where you live and where you race.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the platform. This includes false bookings, payment abuse, unauthorised account access, scraping, spam, attempts to bypass checkout, uploading unlawful content, interfering with another club's data, or using the platform for anything unrelated to legitimate RC club activity.

We may restrict, suspend, or remove access where needed to protect racers, clubs, payments, platform security, or legal compliance.

Availability and changes

go.atspeed.tech may change, add, remove, or limit platform features. The platform may be unavailable during maintenance, incidents, third-party service failures, or security work.

go.atspeed.tech is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every club workflow, event format, device, browser, or local requirement.

Records

The platform may retain order, payment, refund, account, checkout, agreement, and support records needed to operate bookings, support refunds, maintain a reliable transaction history, prevent abuse, and meet legal or accounting obligations.

Liability

go.atspeed.tech is not responsible for club-run race decisions, venue conditions, event safety, race results, attendance decisions, or rule enforcement by the organising club. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Governing law

Unless mandatory local consumer law says otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
